We are happy to announce this year's Wirszup fellows: Casey Rodriguez and Jonathan Wang. The Wirszup fellowship was established in 2012 in memory of Izaak Wirszup, a beloved member of our department and of the university community for may years, who had worked tirelessly towards improving the quality of Mathematics education over the decades. Casey is a student of Carlos Kenig, who works in harmonic analysis and PDE, and in particular inverse problems and nonlinear wave equations. He will be going to MIT next year. Jonathan is a student of Volodya Drinfeld, whose work is at the juncture of classical harmonic analysis and geometric representation theory. He will be going to IAS next year. Congratulations to you, both!
